Privacy: We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to anyone. If you sign in via GitHub or Google, your email and account name remain private. The only information visible to other users is the initials you choose to enter when publishing a score, and your avatar image if you are logged in at the time of publishing.

Data Use: We collect only what is necessary to run the leaderboard: your OAuth identifier for login, and any scores you choose to publish. We do not sell data to third parties. We do not track you across other sites.

Terms: Vector Defense is a free game provided for entertainment purposes. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding availability, uptime, or data retention. We reserve the right to remove any content or accounts at our discretion. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

My name is Michael Teter, and I created this game and leaderboard website to recreate a feeling of the old arcade days. I was inspired by the 2008 game GeoDefense, tower defense games in general, and the style of the classic games Space Duel, Star Wars, and Tempest.

Future: In no particular order, I plan to add more maps, a map editor and map publishing system (on this website), more enemy types, better enemy and tower shapes, and more features. However, the current state of the game is entertaining enough to provide a couple of afternoons of fun.

Game Balance: This is a survival game; you will eventually lose, but the goal is to lose slowly :). There are some intentional and unintentional tactics that can lead to a higher score, but the game seems fairly balanced currently.
